Waterfalls series #1
Location: Nagsasa Cove, San Antonio, Zambales
Its best to photograph waterfalls during overcast weather. But if it can't be helped, photograph the falls early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
For this one I went there just after sunrise, knowing that the sun is going to rise behind the falls. thus I have a few hours window before sunlight directly hits most of the falls.
Essentials:
- tripod
- CPL (for removing or enhancing the glare)
- ND filters (ND4/ND8/ND400) for slower shutter speed.
No points needed. Points can't buy me love :D |

Exquisite delivery of the flowing water in this shot, and very nice control of exposure - you have managed to combine sunny and shaded elements within the frame with beautiful balance.
Certainly timing is crucial - and it is the mark of a good photographer knowing to get the shot at the right time of day, within that "window" as you say.
Kudos - great job!
