[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this photo while riding a car at South Super Highway at Paranaque, Ayala-Alabang area. There were many vacant steel frame structures for rent as billboard spaces. It is an ugly scene on the highway and uglier when there are billboards on it as it completely blocks the sky and the view. Choosing the lesser of two evils, I prefer these thin toothpick like structures than a giant bottle of soy sauce on it.

Sometimes a click from a viewer comes because the subject has meaning; I recognise these billboard skeletons and thought "that looks like Philippines!" even before noting where the shot was taken.

I remember from last year the billboards were all taken down prior to the typhoon that hit - bringing with it that awful ferry sinking.

Thank you for sharing it!

Beautiful graphism, dear Andre.
Nicely composed picture and good choice for B&W tones.
Congratulations and thanks for sharing.
