| she's Analyn and this is my first attempt at portraiture using Photoshop refinements. not a sharp photo because of the slow shutter speed but i tried some tinkering with the PS. selected the subject as layer 1 and applied USM. selected the background and applied some gaussian blur then merged the images. |

Hi!
I think u did well here with the pp work, the blurry background make the gilr a bit more sharpen..and the colors support her smile and happy mood.

Hi Ronnie
Good use of a shallow dof, but it could be a bit sharper, despite the excellent pp work. Did you use a tripod? Good color & lighting, with excellent graphism. Well done!
Hi Ron, finally some portrait!
Nice try and good result for first-time experiment. But, you might try some noise removal tool and shoot with tripod or with more light.
Check arround, there are a lot of people that shoot portraits, there is even public list "Portrait Photographers" available, and you can find a lot of tips to improve your work. I know I did :)
Keep on!
Regards

Oh yes, Ron you will get the hang of it. She is very charming too. Look at her long neck, just like a model. Next time do it it sharper.
I have not been sending "Thank You Responses" as I have been warned twice already not to do it. It is unfortunate as it is part of being civilized and good etiqutte to say "Thanks" to somebody who gives you a compliment.
