From Wikipedia:

"Sometimes called by locals as the "Eighth Wonder of the World", the Ifugao Rice Terraces begin at the base of the mountain range and extend several thousand feet upwards. Two of the terrace clusters in Banaue, namely Bangaan and Batad, are part of the UNESCO World Heritage inscription. It is said that their length, if put end to end, would encircle half of the globe. Built 2,000 years ago, the rice terraces manifest the engineering skill and ingenuity of the sturdy Ifugaos. They are irrigated by means of mountain streams and springs that have been tapped and channeled into canals that run downhill through the rice terraces."

Shown here is a section in Hungduan.

Good Morning Chris,
Mountainous terrain and agricultural land on it in steps of terraces looks awesome. And rice green in the atmosphere presents soothing effect for eyes. You've beautifully caught this image from an interesting PoV. Excellent DoF. Well done. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Chris...
Nice shot with so nice perspective...
Very interesting POV...
Regards...

Hi Chris - a nice view looking down the terrace and valley. Two things spring to mind with this... A human figure on the terrace would give a sense of scale a little better and a touch more contrast - otherwise a good sharp capture!

Olá Chris
I like a lot these photos of rice terrasses they make so much good natural lines in the Earth...and the green of these places are preciuos.

What an amazing POV you have got here showing the best of these rice terraces, Chris!

Love the symmetry and graphism you achieved in this landscape shot.
The colors are natural and light is very well handled.
Great work as usual!

Best regards,
Paras

Hi Chris,
WOW what a nice shot of a section of the Hungduan. It must have felt great just beibng there. I love the composition showing the terraces forming leading line to the valley... One little observation is that the lower left side takes away from the photo...But I do love it... Nice work...TFS

Hi Chris, like the pov looking down the valley, maybe a person would make it easier to work out the size of the fields. Got your email by the way.Hes a big boy now, his choice to stay there. Fiona
