[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another shot of the same girl taken in the lobby of Marco Polo Plaza Cebu. Here she looks more natural and brighter. It was cropped from a big picture and she didn't notice me when I was shooting.

The Philippine culture has been heavily influenced by Spanish and American cultures. It is one of the few Asian countries where the English is widely used in their daily work and life. In Philippine language, architecture, food and clothes, we can see a lot of Spanish ingredients as well.

In Philippines, it seems that everyone is a pretty good singer and dancer. I attended a family party in Cebu a week ago. Some of my Filipino colleagues, who are pretty serious in their work, all of sudden became totally different people when music started, wriggling their bodies with the rhythm. That's very Spanish, quite different from other Asian cultures.

A beautiful mixture Antony, in a way handling the same subject (but from a different approach) as my todays posting.
There's a certain haze over the picture, which could sometimes be disturbing, but in this case it's making the picture more intimate.
"Wriggling" with Christmas carols ? I'd love to hear that version ;-)
