[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A security guard I met in the gate of the Cebu Port San Pedro, a museum of Cebu International Port.

He is a very nice guy. He loves this museum very much. He is not just a security gard, he told us a lot of stories of this city and Philippines.

It was taken in a morning when the sunlight cast directly on his face. I turned the background to black with the Photoshop, so his face could stand out.

Hello Antony, I love the work here. It was a good idea to change the background, it gives it a more dramatic look. The light on his face is excellent. But frankly, not sure I would have thought he was a good guy, lol, TFS! See you on TL, Happy new year, Marie-José

He looks likein the middle of something when u took this photo.
I like the lighting on his face gradually darkened down to his chin.
Nice PP work Tony.

Hello Antony,
Nice shot here, i suppose you happened to be there in the right time, and that you recognised a great photo oppertunity. The way the light works, its amazing. If you hadnt mentioned the guard at the museusm, it would have otherwise looked like a very intense situation. Nice shot.

what an esthetic way of playing with low light

Very strong portrait with amazing lights forming out the structures of the skin very well. I do like the lots of space here, we can dive into his thoughts in some way. You'd been right creating this background in Photoshop, Antony, underlines the modd captured so well. Very good work, very good...

tgreat shot with carachter, i likt it, nice colors and framing

Without reading the title or the note, this appeared to me to be a singer ... 'Ol' Man River' came to mind. He could be on a stage with a single soft spotlight.
I like it. I like it as I see it. Not as a guard, though.
Deep bass timbrous voice ... I can hear it right now.
Nicely done!

Nice light for this great portrait... well done
Fred

The Skin and the expresion in his eyes and mouth, lighted perfectly to give a uncommon strength to the face expresion that was brought out when making darker the background, make this photo excellent

Hi Tony,

Very cool portrait. The lighting is perfect, I would only suggest more negative space to the left (I think it would add some impact).

Well done!
