Making this shot I tried to do what Diane Pudipie adviced me, and covered the flash to make it less strong; I don't know if i succeed or not.

In this shot, after covering the flash, u can see the flash is not strong enough to cover the far background.
Maybe next time you can try covering your flash with a semi-transparent paper( to get a more diffuse light source) and the flash power increase by 1 step.
