The State Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg is the one of the largest museums in the world. In 1764 Empress of Russia Catherine II formed in the Winter Palace an art gallery. In 1852 tsar Nicholas I made it accessible to the public. Since that time visitors can admire above 3 millions works of art, among other things this sculpture.

trochę pornograficzne to zdjęcie, a delfin wygląda jakby mu miały za chwile wyleźć oczy, hahaha, ale foto jest bardzo dobre, ładny punkt widzenia i dobra ostrość, bardzo ładny kontrast

what a strange looking sculpture you are showing us.
i cannot imagine why anyone would sculpt such a scene.
i am not sure it is a dolphin as this creature has scales. probably the sculptor had never seen a dolphin so had to rely on stories.

i am glad you posted this as i think it is extremely amusing.
