[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Leninskie Gorki (also called Gorki Leninskie) is a village in the Leninsky district of Moscow Oblast, 35 km south of Moscow, Russia.

Since September 1918, Vladimir Lenin used to rest there. After Lenin's death, Gorki was renamed to Leninskie Gorki.

The shot was taken in the manor where Lenin lived without break since May 15, 1923 and where he died on January 21, 1924.

I love this picture,Eugene! Very dramatic and moody! You captured a terrific expression ot that woman! Who is she? I have the impression of visualizing a movie scene ! Very well composed and of a great photographic interest! Michel

Very good photo you made Eugene...it shows a part of the Russian history. I like the way how you made this one...my compliments.

Jos

I would not like to get on the wrong side of her! - effective (if somewhat gloomy) B&W - TFS.
