[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I tried a new trick using the new Adobe Lightroom program. It has a special filter which makes the photo look quite old. This was an experiment with the filter. I also used the "find edges" filter to bulk up the blacks a little.

It was fun to play with the new program.

The photo is of St Basil's Church in Red Square. It's often photographed but I haven't seen many pictures from this vantage point.

I'd like to know what the photo looks like without the "find edges"-filter. Nice effect, though :) I particularly like the sky...

Greetings,

Nathalie

Excellent PP work David. The results do make it look old but so clear too. Well done,
Janice

Nicely done PP. Being Muscovite, I photographed it from different angles but mostly from the other side. :) Somehow, your photo gives me a feeling as if it is situated somewhere in the small village.

Good job and spasibo!

Hey David!
I love the effect that you did on the photo! The best part is that it clearly shows all of the different shapes in the architecture. There is so much detail, so much creativity into the design of this church, its beautiful! Well captured from an interesting view!

I like the effect it does on the photo. It looks like a pen and ink drawing with a watercolor wash. The effect on the clouds is beautiful. i noticed the scaffoldings are still viisible on the other side but is now on the lower part of the building. I was there 4 years ago and the scaffoldings are way up to the top. Nice experiment and TFS.

Hi David, I like the effect that you've created with this. The photo is nicely composed, and the PP work adds to the overall result. Very nice!
