[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Those day, in the middle of October, I was walking with Daryl (my client from Australia) around the Red Square and we decided to go inside the St. Basil. While we discovered the chapels inside of St. Basil's Cathedral, it started rain and also something happened on the Red Square - it was almost empty and several police cars blocked the square from different sides. Also it were a lot of regular policemen which asked people to leave this area. The people who were in this cathedral could leave it only from the right side, walking around the building, but not to cross the square. Even I had a picture with this view on the Red Square from St. Basil's Cathedral before, but I decided to make several shots.. and liked two photos very much which were taken with interval about half minute from different angles: The Red Square from St. Basil's #2.

Details in brief:

Left:
Nicely decorated porch of St. Basil's Cathedral, a tower of the State Historical Museum.

Middle:
The monument to the Kozma Minin and Prince Dmitri Pozharsky

Right:
Lobnoye Mesto and long building of famous department store GUM, behind the building you can see a crane - this is reconstruction of hotel "Moskva" (Moscow), and behind it (if you can distinguish) you can see grey building which houses the Russian Parliament we call "Duma".

Hi Arthur, and an interesting story too. I wonder why they shut off the square.
This is a view that won't normally be seen. The monument looks good, as if it is sitting on the tree. I like to see the architectures of the cathedral and the hotel too - so opposite from each other.

Hello Arthur,

Very details notes, :) now I know this place better.

Intersting composition you got here, a bit of everything, amazingly you manage to fit in everything. :D I like the texture of the roof, unique, I haven't see those before, at the end of the roof, those deco is unusual too, and they sure look nice. :D Excellent colours and very well present, thanks for sharing,

Cheers,
Sweety

Привет, Артур!
Погода пасмуртная, но Вы отменно справились с плохим освещением. Глубина фокуса отличная - все четко видно - от Василия Блаженного до Гума.
Спасибо!
Антон

Moscow is on my to-visit list, one day, we will get there, I just have to go and see all the architecture for myself - will make sure to take a tilt-shift lense on the journey

beautiful shot
