It's been so warm in Russia this year, I wanted to post a real winter scene. The Church of the Assumption in the Novodevichiy Monastery is a great example of Moscow Baroque architecture. It was built in the late 17th century in the southern part of the city. The Monastery has been lovingly restored in recent years

Very, very nice shot! The stark but beautiful tree compliments the church nicely. This Church of the Assumption is at one end of Red Square, is it not? Very well done David.
