[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here you can see one of the most beautiful and, if to take its pool, the biggest fountain in Russia, which located at the All-Russia Exhibition Center (former VDNKh) and called "The Stone Flower". No doubt that Soviet architects and designers used the name and shape to this fountain with its divine beauty from Urals fairy tales by Pavel Bazhov.

To show you this beautiful fountain, which is located on opposite side of the Farmstead Square, right next after another gorgeous fountain "Friendship of People", and architectural ensemble of pavilions surrounding it, I decided to make a shot from the corner of the pool where was decorative hills made of fruits and vegetables. From other side of this pool, very close to pavilion "Ukraine" you can distinguish the shapes of "Stone Flower" whose decoration was based on Bazhov's narrations. On the right and left sides of this pool you can see bronze fish and birds, which are splashing inside.

On the background of this picture you can see two pavilions with impressive towers and spires: the building from the left represents Ukraine and another building from the right - Moscow, Ryazan, and Tula regions.

I think that this picture shows the special atmosphere of post Soviet Times at the famous All-Russia Exhibition Center, which nowadays is one of popular parks in Moscow.

Hello Arthur, this must be a wonderful park to visit. And what a great water display to see. The architecture is very ornate and decorative. And the 2 different styles of buildings in the BG show up well.
Thank you my friend,
Janice
PS Having some computer problems lately!!

HI Arthur, this is a neat composition on the architecture and the fountain. Nice symetrical image. Very sharp and great colours.

Take care, Yan :)
