[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It was a freezing morning on the Moscow River today and I stumbled into the Novodevichy Convent on my way to work and the light was magnificent. The convent was built in the 16th century but many buildings were constructed in the 19th century It is undergoing restoration. It is on the UNESCO World Heritage list of protected places.

Minor level tweaks and minimal USM.

Excellent composition and tones. The dramatic foreground doesn't fit really well the church on the background with saturated colors. I don't say it is a negative point. It is the all thing actually.

David I really llike the way the crosses are positioned in this shot. Nice eye! B

Beautifully composed shot Michael, your exposure is perfect. Love the juxtaposition of the cross and the building. An amazing picture full of power. Marvellous shot, well done.

Love this one a lot. So many graphic elemnts on it. Distinct colors too.

oh beautiful David! what a spectacular church and those colours.. i love your POV here with the gravestones in the forground.. their darkness contrasts beautifully with the rich colour of the building.. and shooting it on a snowy day just tops it off pefectly! thank goodness it's a protected building.. we lose so many jewels like this! - great job ^_^ - Ayda

Hello David,

Walking for his album, I found this here and I remembered her there in the beginning, here it is with other angle, other form and vision.
As always she has a beautiful look looking of any side.
Wonderful architecture.
Congratulations
