[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today is Easter Sunday, and I seize this opportunity to wish everyone on TrekLens a Happy Easter. And more than anything I would like to thank all fellow members for the fun and games that can be had in learning to use the camera and the photo software a little better.

This photo was taken last year in one of the great art museums of the world - the Hermitage in St. Petersburg. And imagine my surprise in finding a master who also exhibits on TL, although much too seldom. A clue to a rare collection of grand daring and great talent can be found here.

Technically there wasn't much to do. Just present it the way it came to me. Oh yes, and remember that title: The true Sun of a Beach.

As i told you before, someone will have to explain a lot to me one of these days...I still don´t know which kind of spiritual link we have Per. Yes, its easter day. I came from a bad mood week for me..well, very comun the last times i guess. Sometimes i stop by just to see what´s up on Trek world....but i dont do it regulary for a long while. And now, i just entered my acount here, clicked on "my favourites" link to see what my heros have been doing...and found this. Then a smile on me, a wonderful joy runing my soul..yes i feel happy :) And then a not so good feeling just telling me how far i have been from all of you...but specially from you and another few more souls around that i got some how very close. Oh my...what i´ve been missing... and that spiritual link stuff gets stronger when this morning, in my «vertiginous crossing thoughts daily run» i had an image of a Life Poet, turning his glass cup full of Porto wine to my own, while our eyes were recording a full surrond real-life scene on the magic Douro edges. Not a new scene...but a scene from sometime ago that strangely crossed the zillions neurons on my brain to remind me that magic peace of dream this morning. And now this...pfffff... I´m having a big smile Per, not only on my face expression. Thank you.

hi Per,
I cannot believe in this :) after reading Marco's comment (and I wanted to undersign it, being away most of the time nowadays), I realized it's his work..what an amazing picture this is..made me smile like nothing too..and touched me even more..
thanks for sharing this..
hugs

What a nice tribute to Eagle 78 and for Easter. I can imagine the surprise it must have been for you to see his photo at the museum, not to mention the honour of knowing the artist. As so far away from his home too. I think you made him a happy man today posting this photo.

Happy Easter to you and your family Per.

That was a really cool surprise you've made for Eagle78 ;-) This looks fantastic! And I can see he was really happy!
I think I've already wished you an Happy Easter, but one more time cannot hurt.
Ana

;o) ;o). Nice PP work here, Per... it's a shame that the museum used such a bombastic frame for Marco's masterwork though... I wonder what the tourist is hearing on the MP3 player. Nice tribute to Marco and - sorry I'm too late - a Happy Easter to you too. TFS.
P.S. should we really take him in ? Put him in a small room with nothing but a camera and a computer with PP software ? - Just kidding of course, but your title can be interpreted rather ambiguously ;o)

Dear Per,
It took some time before I could respond at this upload of you.
I totally lost control about time and space.
At first I discovered my picture with a scene in the past and than my painting with a scene in the future.
Than I saw this picture of you. I followed the link and read all info, but I couldn’t find a link with the picture I had from the Hirschsprungske samling in Copenhagen, which I made on 26 July 2003.
I will show you in the WS. Maybe do you have an explanation.
Groet Rob
