"Notre Dame de l'Epiphanie", is a Russian Orthodox church, (in the Siberian city of Irkutsk), built in 1716, & renovated several times. Nothing I could do about the abysmal weather!

OK... maybe it just a little dislike of me but I prefer the center tower to be vertically stright :)and distortion will follow to it :). Some glow around the building too. Did you do some post processing to burn the sky ?

Yan

Hi Chris,
What a colorful church ... this would surely be a landmark for the place. Good corner angle to take the shot in order to give depth to the building. Well composed! tfs

Hello Chris,

Beautiful look of this church,
He knows, which me more taste in these architectures is the details, their colors and the construction form.
They are a lot the works contained in her, incisions, small drawings and so many other.
it is very beautiful!
Congratulations

Sérgio

Hi Chris,
The cloudy condition actually intensifies and highlights architectural details of this very ornate Russian Orthodox church. Well presented and quite attrative. Best regards, Danilo

Hi Chris,

I love this photo of such a beautiful church. I've never seen anything so colorful or interesting!! Since I did find the photo so interesting, I wanted to play with it a bit in work shop. Your photo really is fine as it is, but since you made the comment about the weather, I gave you a blue sky! :D I also cropped it to bring the details even closer.

I'm just trying to learn about workshops and what can be achieved with them. Your photo had so much to offer in detail, etc.... Hope you don't mind! Lisa

Hi Chris,
What a wonderful building! Pity about those Stalinist style concrete boxes that surround the church. They arelly affects the composition.

Hi Chris, This is a very unique and unusual looking building. The mix of turret types is very attractive indeed. I find Russian history interesting although i have never been there and have a slight fear of the place. Uhu's and your photos provide a wonderful insight. TFS. Murray.

Hello Chris,
Russian church architecture never stops to surprise!
In addition to the traditional golden onions I here find some really bright colours, eye-catching...
The point of view works well, well balanced composition!
Greetings,

I find this type of architecture fascinating. The colors, the decorations,it is so spectacular and different from what we are used to see here in North America! You always bring us some interesting exotic views that help us to open our mind . It is much appreciated. Thanks
Michel
