A hot summer's day in Khabarovsk, in Far Eastern Russia. From Wikipedia:

"Khabarovsk (Russian: Хаба́ровск, IPA: [xʌ'barɘfsk]; Chinese: 伯力; pinyin: Bólì) is the administrative center and the largest city of Khabarovsk Krai, Russia. It is located some 30 km from the Chinese border. It is the second largest city in the Russian Far East, after Vladivostok. The city became the administrative center of the Far Eastern Federal District of Russia in 2002. Population: 579,000 (2005 est.); 583,072 (2002 Census);[1] 600,623 (1989 Census)."

The wide angle lens has tilted the building quite a bit, but I like the quality of your shot, especially that it was shot on film, and so was scanned? Can I ask what scanning equipment you use? I have a big population of slides, negatives, and prints, and have been thinking about sharing some on TE/TL.

Hi Chris,
A very charming city scene. Not exactly what comes to your mind when the city name come up! I always had visions of Siberia as snow bound cities with very unppealing Stalinist-style big concrete apartment boxes everywhere.
