It's the Church of Life-giving Trinity at Borisovskiye Ponds (Kashirskoye shosse, 61).
Information from Russian Wikipedia:
The decision to build the church was timed to coincide with the Millennium of the Baptism of Russia in 1988. The construction of this Byzantine style cathedral was finished in 2004. The 70-meters high building is designed to hold up to 4000 people. The architectural complex includes a clergy of a parish house, a sunday school, a belfry, and Alexander Nevsky chapel.
I heard (though this info might be inaccurate) that it's 4th biggest cathedral in Russia (1st - Christ the Savior, Moscow, 2nd - St.Isaac's, St.Petersburg, 3d - St.Nicolas, Kronstadt island). |

Hello Aamer,
Very nicely photograph of this cathedral. I did not know that these still are built new.
Wonderful colours and light.
The reverberation of the sun in the cupolas is very beautiful.
Greetings from Netherland,
Adri
Clear and colorful image, well done!

Bonjour Aamer,
Superbe vue de cette église, des couleurs nobles qui ressortent bien sur le bleu du ciel, un joli cadrage la met bien en valeur!
Félicitations
Amicalement Odile

Hello Aamer,
I consider it a wonderful photo showing the church in its beauty (speaking about architecture) against the bright blue sky. Beautiful colours, shining blue domes (a combination of "blue and blue", if I may say so...) Excellent composition!
Although maybe you could try cropping the right part and leave the big church alone and make a vertical or square version...
I'm not a fan of Orthodox churches as such but I appreciate your photo.
I live in Moscow but I have never seen this church :)) LOL
Anyway I don't know Moscow well enough...
TFS and best regards,
Elena
