This white bird flies topmost in the coupola of the Saint Isaac's Cathedral.
The cathedral is a Late Neoclassical rendering of a Byzantine Greek-cross church.
Saint Isaac's Cathedral or Isaakievskiy Sobor (Russian: Исаа́киевский Собо́р) in Saint Petersburg, Russia is the largest cathedral (sobor) in the city and was the largest church in Russia when it was built (101.5 meters high). It was dedicated to Saint Isaac of Dalmatia, a patron saint of Peter the Great who had been born on the feast day of that saint.

The distance of the bird from the camera is 93m, which makes this is also a good test of the lens. There seems to be some mist or "cloud" inside this high dome because the light from the side windows is visible.
