Sorry, I couldn't get any closer.

Picture taken in Singapore Botanical Garden. The inside of the orchid is almost transparant, you can see each leaf through the other.

Singapore Botanical Garden has a special orchid garden, where you can find hibrid orchids created for special guest such as Lady Di.

Hi Niek,

You've captured a beautiful orchid; however, I think it would work better if you were to get a bit further away from it and capture all the petals. The light in the background is very harsh. Perhaps, shooting this orchid from the side could have made the difference.

Good luck,
Katya

Hi, Niek!
Orchids are beauties as a plant and as a detail of a macro. Yours is the second case and is very good proof of that.
