Hi Richard,
This is a really wonderful conversion to B&W. The contrast and the tonality are just amazing. I think you mastered the conversion fully. The photo has a great abstract touch to it especially with the shallow DOF and the clean composition. I really love the waterdrops on the flowers.

More excellent work here, great in terms of metering, sharpness, depth of field, composition and detail. The shape of each flower is beautifully shown here and the water droplets are a great touch.
Very well done, again!

A very strong image.
Five orchids in good view, perfect Fibonacci!
Nicely balanced composition.
Good tonal range.
Delicate raindrops for interest.
Sharp focus.
Doris awards you 10/10.

Hi Richard,
Nice, this one took one look and I liked it, the detals and sharpness are good and the DOF is good. I'm on the fence with the other one but this I like, maybe because it is not so close or they are not so dark. Well done

Hi Richard,
Very unusual picture of lovely orchid in B&W, but you did great presening it. Very sharp and looks fresh with those drops. I love it.

the tones in this one is even better then the first b/w orchid photo richard :)
i like this composition and framing better as well
the depth makes this stand out nicely
contrast is beautiful
maybe you can try color filters on the lens to change the tones of the flowers for a different effect...not sure how well color filters work on digital though...
i would try a green and maybe an orange filter to start :)

Yep
I like this multi orchid better than the single B&W. Again the water droplets add emensly to quality of the capture - nicely composed and presented. Congratulations
