[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I like this shot...but I won't say it's my best shot. So I'll be direct here:
How can this shot be better?
Thanks for your comments/advices/etc. :)

The reason why I say it's not a great shot is that whatever emotion or message I wanted to convey is vague. The reason I can think of is that I was too engross in getting the exposure right. The lighting was very tricky so I switched to manual settings and was trying to get a good composition. That could be the reason!

What do you think? :)

Thanks in advance.

i dont know why you want this shot to be better. it's nice. maybe a bit more contrast on the left or brightness on the right would fit. i like it and did som PP :-) ... tell me what you think about it.

Hey Talisman!
I feel the man in the shot is not walking fast enough (motion blur)...maybe that could be a factor you are feeling there's some element missing/needs to be modified..
I also feel that because of the exposure setting, the gamma infront of the guy is high..(or is it the high-compression for this jpg??)
Diverging from your theme, I have done a workshop on this..
Hope you like it..
Cheers!

Not easy that kind of photography, but you finally got an interesting one. I mean it's OK in the hight light ,I notices it tilt a bit to the right. I like the details in the dark zone except the left corner . Otherwise it's a nice b&w Talisman.

Hi Talisman

Superb diminishing linear perspective, with an excellent tonal range. Good work!

I like this one a lot too. The lighting and composition are very good. I like the wall on the right. nice job. JP

very nice compo and exposure bro :)
i tried the same shot before at the same place but the results were not as good :)

Hi Mervyn,
very good composition, really! I love the way you let the wall to the right show considerably, it gives a great feeling of depth!love the tones too! no need to worry about this one I would say,
regards,
M.

Hi Talisman, because of the extreme difference in contrast between the entrance of the tunnel and the rest, it is very difficult to get the exposure correct on just one shot. I think the eye adjust so fast that we do not notice... The camera is not that clever.
I suggest you do two shots... One with the entrance on the correct exposure and one with the rest in the correct exposure and then merge the two in photoshop.
