hi BK. very nice creation. TFS.

Shogun

A strong message and keep trying (i did it 18 years ago and haven't look back).

I like the use of selective colour to highlight the message and the steep angle to add impact to the picture. I also like the way the person is looking away from the camera - perhaps to mirror the shame you feel.

Andrew

Come onl, don't be ashamed, and have alittle will!!

You can do it!!
Great photo, LOVE the grain, suoperb feeling, even if you feel kind of asahmed:))

cigarettes in singapore are expensive right?
goodluck on your quiting man! =)
great selective desat and i like the grainy backround.

Shame on you :P
I'm just kidding :)
I like the composition and this would be quite effective for "quit smoking" publicity campain. Nice job with the selective desaturation.
Let say it's a very difficult habit to break but I'm sure you can do it.
Have a good weekend,
Annick

:-(

but very nice shot, the color contrast and BW, the face turned away, great shot!!!!

You didn't 'start smoking again,' you just had a temporary relapse ... hehe ...
Just remember that every time you say 'no' to the urge, you have won another victory for your future self.
Great photo - good composition and excellent use of the desaturation.

Sorry to be the smart one ... but have you called the number on the smokes??? (joking!)

My Hubby smokes and I think quiting is a personal choice figured out by the smoker. (as I have tried to get him to quit countless times) ..
Good luck in your quest! :) Its not an easy one!

Photo great job.. I like the way the pack is in focus and the rest is a blur like the smokes is the problem!!

sorry for the rant!!!

Tricia

There is no shame! Get back up on that pony and ride! You have at least taken the first step and admitted powerlessness! Now seek a power greater than you to help you stop! Keep going!

Hi BK,

Excellent shot and well composed. Excellent message.

Mike

Good dynamic composition which gets the message across. Well done.

This should be used as some Government anti-smoking campaign poster - well done again, just superb.

The angle adds to the overall impact, a top quality image.

Ahh, I was excited for you ( puff, puff) to quit smoking (puff)...
This is a great photo and also a great look into your life a bit..We all have things we want to change about ourselves, but for some reason, you wanted to make it known in this puplic forum. Its like a photo documentary on your own life..
Well done
Matt

x,
it's not the end of the world, we can lose the battle but not the war. don't give up. :)
'bout the photo, i like the pp treatment and diagonal composition. grain adds a feel to it. tfs.

Two days.... Well, it's going to be easy to double-up next time. And double-up again the time after... Great shot, such a nice contrast between the sharp pack of cigs and the background. Nice angle too. Well done!

You should stop downloding cancer Koh.. go on quit ;)

Alaettin

Well, I can say that I am bit disapointed in reading that you have not been able to last more than a couple of days but hopefully next time it will be easier. Very nicely done picture with a great angle and the fact that the guy is looking away from the pack of cigarette is very good. Excellent!

Excellent presentation, powerful composition, bravo

step by step... :) You will finally make it. But you should be ashamed :) seeing this kind of pictures on cigarretes would make me give up quickly... :P (in Poland there're only writings).
