She wanted me to take a picture of her, and so I did. With my mobile no less.
Then I decided to experiment with the Lomo script I found for Photoshop on FlickR. Not very sure what the script does exactly though. :P
No other editing done. |

To be honest it doesn't work too well ... it's good that you've experimented though, because experiments can show us both success, and its lack. :)
POV is probably too close, Shanice is no doubt pretty but this distorted view doesn't show it. There is a yellowish light on her face, compared to the natural-light background (which is distractingly busy in itself.)
Take this shot from a little further back. Make sure the light is consistent - all artificial, or all natural - and that your background is neutral and uncluttered. The large aperture of the cellphone camera should create a nice shallow depth of field, and any noise or pixellation can be taken care of in PhotoShop. :)
