| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Walking through the botanical gardens in Singapore you will see a lot of families enjoying the lush green and fresh air together.
Especially Chinese families like to take hundreds of pictures and not just about the park, but also about themselves. I do believe that the cleaners in the park spend more time with taking pictures of families upon request than actually on cleaning the park :-).
I liked the little detail of the broom laying to the side in the grass.
PS: If anyone has an idea about the 'states' within Singapore that you're able to choose here on TL, let me know! I know the districts of Singapore, but on TL they seem to use a different division under the option 'states'. Anyone an idea? |

Hi Dennis,
When reading your story you really get the whole picture.
It must be a lovely and relaxing place and fun to watch moments like this.
Dus jij ging ook op je hurken om een foto ervan te maken.
Leuk. TFS

Hoi Dennis,
For dutch people like me, this is a superb photo. Great colors and beautiful flowers ! It gives a nice insight in their daily lives.

Joop!
p.s. ietsje teveel verzadiging?
hi dennis!
nice compo! and the idea that the cleaner is taking the family picture is simply hilarious! filipinos are like that too you know, we take our pictures anytime, anywhere! haha!
Perhaps they would need a small lesson on how to take photos by lowering themselves to the eye-level on their subjects (^_^).
Nice and funny capture going well with your note. I might suggest you here to pay attention to the elements in the BG when you are shooting people. Here the lamp post is certainly to close to the gardener. It seems to stick out of his shoulder. A few steps to your right would have prevented that. You would have then the whole broom and the photographer between the trees. Just a thought.
Cheers!
Robert
