I'm still at the Singapore Orchid Gardens. I was sitting on my knees to shoot a picture of Mrs Thatcher, when some squirrels in the tree above me started fighting.
The nuts were flying around and at one point, one had enough and jumped away. I could just capture him on the long end of my lense, 200mm (300mm in 35mm eq.). He was hanging there, thinking he wouldn't be seen... 'I'm a tree, I'm a tree...'. No, you're a squirrel. ;-) |

Hello Dennis,
Your composition is beautiful here. The tiny squirrel is looking cute and providing an agile stance. A pretty moment from nature has been captured. Well done.
Thanks for sharing this image.
Hi Dennis, good capture, just wish the little fella had been turned the opposite way with his face in the sun instead of his tail, good comp and good sharpness along with a good handling of light and dark area. Well done mate.
Dean.

Great catch! Sometimes they stare at you for a minute and then suddenly twitch and turn sommersaults just when you try to click the camera:) I have one that raids the bird feeder and thinks he's funny when I try to sneak up on him. It's nice to see that someone was able to get a clear shot. Well done!
