[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Saint Andrew's Cathedral is an Anglican cathedral in Singapore and the country's largest cathedral. It is located in downtown Singapore.

The Cathedral was designed by George Drumgoole Coleman and the original Saint Andrew's Church was built from 1835 to 1836.
A second Church of Saint Andrew was built around 1842. Rumours of unhappy spirits and damage caused by two lightning strikes in the following decade resulted in its closure in 1852 and subsequent demolition in 1855.

The Cathedral itself is based on the 13th century English prototype Netley Abbey in Hampshire in the UK.
The first church was consecrated as a cathedral in 1870.

In 1942, shortly before the fall of Singapore to the Japanese, the cathedral served as an emergency hospital.

Hello Dennis. The sharpness of this image is excellent. You managed to capture this scene during the blue hour very well and the result is an attractive picture with good details and effective point of view. The light of the evening give a nice mood to the image. Good composition with a strong focal point and perfect exposure. The note is interesting as well. Thanks.

Well exposed shot Dennis, deep blue sky and sharp details are very attractive. nicely framed although my eyes tend to move towards your signature ;) perhaps a fainter colour would have been less noticeable.. nevertheless, a nice one.. thanks

Hoi Dennis,
Excellent colour contrasts in this picture, beautiful lighting of the church a bit intrigue view. A pity of the cars which are a bit disturbing the view, although I realize it's hard to prevent, and PS in this case is a hell of a job. Anyway a fine posting my friend!
