Singapore banking district skyline
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Another shot of the banking district skyline, this time take from the harbour front with Esplanada Mall to the back.
What you see is Esplanada Brdige at Marina Bay and the the total far left end the famous Merlion, which is the icon of Singapore; A statue with the head of a lion and the body of a fish. Its name comes from combining 'mermaid' and 'lion'. I'll get to a more close-up shot at a later stage!
The earlier shots of the banking district skyline can be found here (1) and here (2). I appreciate the second take the most I guess.
Hope you like this one! |

Dennis. I like this image. The lights look very nice and well exposed. The bridge is an excellent focal point on the foreground and the skyline seem ok. I am not sure about the large empty area on the top left though. I think make moving the view more to the right to capture more of the bridge and city would be a more effective perspective. I figure you wanted to include the area where the statue is located however being night and far away from it, is not visible in the image. Is still a nice view of the city. Thanks Dennis.

Hello Dennis, another very good nightshot ! Good reflections and very sharp picture. Maybe I would have put less sky and more buildings. Thanks my friend !

Tsja, zo'n stad is uitermate geschikt voor nachtfotografie.
Dennis, het lege stuk stoort mij niet - nog meer nadruk op het stadsbeeld en de brug - weer een heel mooi gelukte foto,
