...to walk up here at night..!

Well, I just did and took a few shots while I was there. One of the many underpasses in Singapore that make great photographic opportunities.

I've set up a Singapore Underpass theme that I think I'll continue to populate as I snap more of the little beauties. Maybe I was a mole in a previous life.

Shot in RAW, jpeg conversion, resize, sharpen and brightness/contrast fiddled with.

Hi Richard,
Great photo. No way I'll walk there!! I like the distortion creating a convergent effect, reenforced by the wall design, pushing us to the black hole and the light guiding the way.
B&W was a good choice.

Aida

great perspective.
good bw work!
well done

It reminds me of a picture I took in a tunel here in Belgium.

I like it a lot, nicely done, the exposure is just perfect

regards

I like it Richard.
Tunnel to nowhere? You created interesting mood here. I like the perspective and I think it looks good in B&W.

Hi Richard,
Nice one mate, I like the lighting on this one and no light at the end LOL another thing that stands out to the that the photo lacks and it's not a bad thing is GRAFFITI, I bet if you dared try a shot like this over here it would have loads.
Tfs Andy

Hi Richard,

Another great picture, you really have an eye for a scene and how to create atmosphere within it.I often find myself looking at your pictures from the thumb nail before realizing they are yours. Fantastic. I am adding you to my favorites, been meaning to do it for a while.

Cheers
Tom

The B&W is great here. I love the geometries too. TFS. K2

Great series ... not sure if I dare ..,

Hi Richard,

People may not believe that it's taken in Singapore, where there is no dark place (public paradigm) . . but you did presenting a different perspective . .
And usually plenty people going through this kind of underpass . . What time did you take this picture?
I won't take this path . . he he . .
I have similar experience when visiting F1 Sepang circuit . . there is an underpass between pit-area and tribune . . and it's very quiet and empty . .
Very well done my friend . . I love the composition . . Worth it to wait this area empty . .

Tfs,
Tjutjut

Hi Kilted-Arab! Dangerous place. Excellent perspective. Great effect. Good luck!
