Freaky Cockroach World [VIDEO]
There's no moon tonight. It's pitch, pitch black in the middle of no where. My jeep's two old headlights are my only hope to guide me back to civilization.
.
As I drive through an unknown dirt road somewhere in Mandai, suddenly, I'm stuck in a sticky ravine. There's an eerie sound I haven't heard before. Actually, it's a compounded sound made from countless hisses from creatures that are hiding in the dark.
.
My jeep is stuck so deep and I can’t do anything but wait until dawn. I haven’t eaten for the last 3 hours and I am so hungry now. My supply of skittles and M&M’s is gone because a big fat-bellied wild pig ate everything when I was in Key West.
.
I waited and waited. I got hungrier by the hour. I can’t stand it! I have to eat! I can hardly bear the stench, but my hunger and curiosity of the unknown is greater than my fear of what could be lurking in a distance, not so far away.
.
I dig in! I saw protein and nutrition, in crunchy exoskeletons. It’s a swarm of Hissing Madagascan Cockroaches!
.
YUMMMMMMM!
.
Singapore Zoo Fact: This is a showcase of the Hissing Cockroaches from Madagascar
Only males have horns on the thorax. When provoked, this insect hisses by purging air out through the breathing holes of its body.

Freddie

OMG.. You succeeded. This is way to freaky! I even believed your story, till the end. What a great all round posting. My skin is crawling (partly from the story) so your brilliant composition did what you intended. Thank goodness you told me eventually they were behind glass.. now I can sleep at night.Excellent! TFS
