Another night shot, this time in the central quadrant of Clarke Quay. This is a great place for a night out, full of bars, clubs and restaurants.

The roof is a fantastic structure to photograph - this is basically an open air area with this futuristic tennt-like structure protecting you from the elements should it rain. The lighting changes colour adding to the atmosphere.

Not sure what else to say! :-)

Hi Richard,
In terms of exposure and general image, I prefer this one to the other one of this same place. Some more colour, warmth and the verticals are well presented.
Good effort. Best regards, Daniel

Hiya Richard... go on tell us you were not standing over the fountains taking this shot as they switched on :-)

Lovely image nice lighting and lines. Love this site as I get to see so many exotic places.

TFS regards Helen

Hi Richard
This does indeed look very futuristic. I like the water fountains and the smoothness to them. The place does definately have an outdoor feel to it.

Philippa

Hi richard.
Lovely image great lighting good composition.
very sharp details
well done.

I think I preffer the tilted one but, as I've told you, it was a great idea to go there by night.
Do you have shots of the ceiling itself ?

Many thanks for your comments on my picture : River autumn scene..

Very interesting night shot. Great exposure. There is plenty to interest the viewer here. The array of lights, the different colours, the flow of water and the architecture. Nice.

Richard-
The quality of your work amazes me. The ceiling is lovely but the way you have captured the reflection colour is astounding. I really like the fountain area. I have my first L lens now I can only hope that I can capture one image nearly as good as this. TFS
Wanda

Hi Richard, this is very nice with all the coloured lights and showing us the nice architecture.
The water jets and all the image is razor sharp.

Well done! Yan :)

Ps: a tip I would like to give you is do all your work in raw and 16 bits then save in jpg at the last minute. :)

Really neat night shot here Richard! The blur of the water is really nice! All around a super shot!
