[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Weekends for me are a time when I can really indulge my two main passions - photography and my family.

I used to play a lot of golf, it comes with the territory if you're brought up in Scotland :-)

But having two kids cut back on the golf time, photography doesn't intrude. Today we took the kids out for breakfast, to a local museum where they can push buttons and run about, home for lunch then in the afternoon to a local playground where they can play with their friends. And where I can take some snaps to send to the family back home!

Messing about with the fisheye again today. I like the "in your face" effect of this shot. May not be to everyone's taste, though.

Shot in RAW, converted to sepia, jpegged, resized, sharpened.

Morning Richard

FANTASTIC.. i love this capture the original angle is superb, really arty the fisheye works well here, I agree it might not be everyones cup of tea but it certainly floats my boat. Love the tones too.

TFS have a great weekend

It's late Saturday night, had a good night out, sorry to say this Richard but your photo hurts my head a little- maybe it's the boos.
Different photo, but I think it's good.
Nico

excellent control with the fisheye richard
the framing is very good, everthing is distorted by the angle except Jessica

the curve of the slide really bends the frame in this shot :)

koh

You put the fisheye to good use. I also like the moody sepia treatment. And congratulations on the way you succeeded to merge your two passions.
Regards,
Tibi

great use of fisheye
nice sepia tones
IMO would look better if the buildings were level

You talked some time ago about creating a trademark KA style of photography, and this, I recall, was kind of "it."

A distinctive style, then, and I have to say I like the curved effect your wide angle lens has given this one.

Amazing how like you your daughter looks here!

Nice work

What a strange one !
Great effect, wonderful tones.

thanks,

In the thumbnail, I thought it was a assembly line type of machine that manufactures children. Like this one, it came out really well!
Cheers

Hi Richard,
very dynamic picture!
well done,

armel.

WOW! This jumped right out at me, as I checked your page out. I've been gone this past week, so I missed alot. I think the "tilt" in this is awesome! Is this Wee Jess?? The sepia works excellent! Whoa! Dizzying!
