[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This weeks theme got me going through my old shots again - no bad thing.

Sporting - this guy was in his 40's and a little overweight...but for charity, the "Sporting Chance Foundation", he was prepared to go through several months of training and then get into the ring with someone who wanted to hit him time and time again in an effort to win a fight.

Shot in RAW, jpegged, resized, sharpened, b/w conversion.

{sorry, need to keep the note short, in a rush!}

You've gotta love the Canon's big ISO settings, tho' the wide aperture has to help. I really need to get a lens like that!

Richard
You have sure captured a very err determined(?) look on this guys face. I love the detail, even the hair on his arms. Great photography and I like the B&W as well. TFS

Hope he didn't have a heart-attack :-)
Excellent entry for the theme.
But on the other hand (:-\), if he puts some weight behind the punch...

The boxers are back - well this, though well captured, looks a bit out of shape and one that would have difficulty going the distance.

Thanks for the continued visits to my on going Road Trip.

Hi Richard, You caught this guy in one of those moments! I notice he is one of twins, imagine the fight with two guys that size throwing punches! I decided to hang up my gloves a few years ago otherwise would have challenged this human gorilla. Good sporting portrait. TFS. Murray.

Hi Richard

I would not tangle with 'im. He l;oooks lik e a bruiser to me. Good shot I love the agression in his facial expression.

Cheers
Tom

I have used my ;) but will award one later

Nice shot Richard, good B&W presentation and a good sense of determination in his expression. Two senses of the word "sport" here - he's obviously a pretty good sport if he's willing to get mashed to a pulp for charity!
Cheers, John.
