[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This morning I had the great pleasure of meeting up with Scott Hale and our first visit was to the Singapore Zoo where we took quite a few snaps of the White Tigers. They really are powerful, beautiful and graceful animals. Quite unlike Scott and myself :-)

We spent quite a while taking snaps of these animals before heading further into the Zoo.

OK, it's New Years Eve and I'm off for a beer - best wishes to all! Well, nearly all :-)

Shot in RAW, cropped, jpegged, some brightness/contrast tweaking, resized and sharpened

Hi Richard,
Great shot, you have captured the power of this Tiger well and from a great POV.
Well done my friend and a fine last post for 2007.
Regards and New Year wishes to you and the family.
Andy

Good job not overexposing anything..great details and colors. I think it has just a tad bit of noise, but that is just minor. Very well taken!

Richard,
That full-frame 5D, combined with the 70-200 L-series really allowed for a great close-up image here. The composition is superb, the back of this guy really is shown well, it's a unique POV. only AFTER reading the critiques did I see the hint of noise that Leeanne spoke of but it's very very minor, something that neat image could easily take care of.
Very nice details and a perfect eye contact pose. These guys were really nice to see in person! Singapore Zoo really impressed me as well as your hospitality! It was great meeting you, my friend.

:) Later...

Hi Richard,
lovely capture of this magnificent big cat. Focus and exposure look very well carried out. I would have framed it- but that's just personal preference :-)
Well done. Best regards, Daniel

happy new year :-)

Hello Richard

Well, this is just stunning, superb sharpness and details with good eye contact...what I love most is the movement though, You caught him walking and the weight transfer on his feet has really made his huge shoulder stand out.

Fantastic shot Richard

Happy New year to you and your family

kind regards Helen

Hi Richard, A superb good zoomof this magnificent beast. Clarity is good right to the whisker width. An excellent venue for animal photos along with the Bird Park. TFS. Murray.

How did I miss this?? Oh yeah, I was gone for 10 days with no internet! He looks ready to EAT you Richard! Very beautiful animal! I wish I had one! Nice shot, I like how you captured his intent gaze....just before he ate you!
