Smoke from an incense stick, the fourth shot in my series "Smoke"
What I love about shooting smoke, is that no two images are ever the same- and it's totally random, totally unique.
I shoot in the dark with a Elinchrome flash system (snoot) and no wind.
I hope you like it,

Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Daniel,
I don't know exactly how you achieve this, or the type flash you use, but I think I will have to purchase a few incense sticks. I really like the effect of the smoke pattern.
Great sharp details against the black background. Very creative shapes and patterns.
thanks for sharing, Lisa

Hello Daniel,
Not sure why this has not generated more comment / interest. A very unusual shot very different to other shots on this site. Keep up the original ideas

Hi Daniel
Very striking image. The pale blue against a black background works really nicely. Magical.
