[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Squid drying in the warm October sun on the Sokcho waterfront. The orange powder looks like some sort of salted chilli powder the workers later dip the dried squid in. Personally, I prefer calamari.

what's so lovely is to see, that wherever in the world people, near the sea, are all drying fish and seafood, I love it. Very interesting. TFS Chris, M, (*_*)

Ummm... hehehe, Chris, while you were there, how is the smell like?

I love to eat them.. but not when they were drying, surely smell. Eat some dry one in Brunei before, they pound it with a big hammer then burn them in the fire and serve with Chilli source, taste hot and spicy. :P

Good documentary shot, thanks for sharing Chris,

Cheers,
Sweety

Hi Chris,

I wish I could try them, we eat squid a lot in Greece, but mainly fried or cooked. Lovely daily life scene, nicely composed and vivid colors.
Happy Holidays,
Vassilis

Isn't squid and calamari the same? I love eating it, and octopus too, eel, yummy! Nice photo....
