[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A fake English castle sitting incongruously in the Korean countryside not far from the DMZ border with North Korea. The signage says 'Gyeonngi Do', which is the name of the province surrounding Seoul. ('Do' pronounced as door is Korean for province). It's now more commonly known as Paju English Village after the county name. Opened April 2006. More info here:

How strange! What do they have inside this "English village"? The people adds a nice touch to this composition.

Wonderful shot Chris
Even though the castle is fake it's still a beautiful site to the eyes and you captured it excellently.
Good job

Hi Chris,

I see you have the whole world in front of you, heh? You are lucky, you don't have to visit other coutries. You see them all there... :))
Great colours and POV!
Well done!

Great to see this one. I know Chris that in Japan they constructed a little Dutch village (replica) so here we have a British equivalent. Nice to see this TFS

Hi Chris, this is very nice: well composed, great colours, and very natural with the people going about.

Sharp and clear too.

Take care, Yan :)

Hi Chris,
I guess a lot of Korean people love to visit this place, so they can see a little culture of Europe. It's interesting to see this, thanks

Hi Chris,
I find the idea of an English village quite intriguing, in spite I have no idea what is inside..!
Well composed image with good details, where the lines take me right inside...
Super colours and good sharpness in the details!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Do they have also added a "queen" in the castle ?
Very nice picture, clear and colors are vivid.
Also,, thanks for the note.

Hi Chris, You are getting to some very interesting places in Korea. It is a treat to see this hard-working place through your lens. Good POV and colours to give a satisfying end result. Murray.

Namaste Chris,

That is really a wonderful capture!! Nice colors and POV. It seems, to be a cloudy day. Still you got all colors right in place. TFS.

Kiran.

USA has korea towns, and they like to see English culture in return!

Very interesting shot, the Korean's seem to have brought the world to them! Well composed, excellent colors and nicely exposed.
