Having studied in both the east and west, this mural depiction is very interesting to me Chris. But I believe students all over the world are as not as polite and attentive as before but more independent now. Fine colors and sharpness. Regards.

Hi Chris,

Excellent capture of the somewhat dated, but interesting mural. Here in Baltimore we have students physically attacking teachers, then posting it on the net to proudly display their achievements. Sad.

Not sure what was on either side of your crop, but maybe a little breathing room would be good?

Hello Chris,
Very well capture of the great depiction of a scene of 'guru' and his disciples. This may still be found in rural areas of India and at some places in this subcontinent. But you are true, there has been a sea change in the student-teacher relationship in these days. But I guess, good and genuine teachers are always well respected, may be in a different form than this.

Such an interesting painting, portraying how things used to be, in terms of attitude and costume.
