[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Gyeongbokgung (Gyeongbok Palace) is a palace located in northern Seoul, South Korea. It was the main and largest palace of the Joseon Dynasty and one of the Five Grand Palaces built by the Joseon Dynasty.
The palace was originally constructed in 1394 by Jeong Do-jeon, a Korean architect. The palace was burnt down during the Japanese invasions of Korea (1592-1598). It was reconstructed during the 1860s as a massive 330 building complex with 5,792 rooms. Standing on 4,414,000 square feet (410,000 square meters) of land, it was a symbol of majesty for the Korean people and the home of the royal family. Soon after the assassination of Empress Myeongseong by the Japanese agents in 1895, her husband, Gojong of Korea left the palace and the imperial family would never return.

Very colourful Pedro and your POV works well here to make the most of that long collonade and the colorful roof beams. The child half way down helps.

beautiful shot well taken.

Regards Mark :)

Wow...great repetitive shapes and colors in this long perspective view! Including the child helps show scale, and is a nice human touch. I think it would help to do something about the bright white section on the left border, but I'm not sure what...since cropping might disturb the design at the top too much. I love the clear undisturbed surface of the aisle leading us through the pillars, and feel drawn into the image as my eye travels to its farthest point:) Excellent!

Hello Pedro,
The repetition broken by the little child's "hug" makes a perfect composition. Perfect coloring--the bright colors in the columns and their trim are not to be outdone by the child's bright shirt.
Thanks for sharing,
Karen

Hi Pedro,

Excellent shot, the perspective is great, the composition nicely balanced and the child a nice touch. The colors are vivid, the sharpness great and the exposure perfect.
TFS,
Vassilis

Hello Pedro:

This it is an evdencia of the perspective, alone some steps in the center break the monotonia of the columns, the boy what causes he is to give life to the image.

Well it sought and very well done.

TFS.

A cordial greeting

Josep

Great and beautiful perspective, nice colors and details

Goed gezien !
Mooie compositie, ook al door dat kind.
( per toeval of heb je moeten dokken ? ;-) )
Ook prachtige frisse kleuren ( en kleurcombinatie )
Als ik iets " moet " zeggen dat ik " minder " vind, is het die felle witte achtergrond uiterst links : die trekt teveel m'n aandacht net omdat ie zo oplicht.

Groetjes

Jan

Ola Pedro! Marvelous perspective. Beautiful colors. Very good geometry. Amazing effect. Saudacoes!

Hi Pedro,

wonderful perspective with great DOF

Compliments!

Gio

Une belle photo qui utilise bien la géométrie de l'endroit.
Sur le personnage humain, je suis plus reservé mais c'est un bon cliché tout de même

Well spotted--the child is just right. I would have cropped the sides in a little bit more to have the beams as frames on the sides.
