Well, it's my home away from home, away from home in Australia! This is the school I currently work at, which is about as far west as you can go, before crossing over the bridge to Ganghwa Island. The surrounding area is home to 25 million people, making Seoul the 2nd largest connurbation in the world, after Tokyo region, with 35 million. Heavy rain the previous day has washed out all the dirt, smog, & pollution in the air.

Hi Chris,
A nice play with shades and shadows in this beautiful perspective with an adequate POV.
Good sharpness adorned with marvelous lighting.
I like the prolonged building backed by the mountain.
Beautiful FG and a nice natural frame with the trees.
Well done,
Regards,

Francis Xavier

Hi Chris
Here is a wonderful place for work!
A good scenic place in front of your view when you look at your window, the Korea is a great country with kind people
Nice shot
Thank
Alireza

Hi Chris,

absolutely fantastic use of natural framing of the two trees. Nice perspective. I like the contrast of the dark branches over the blue sky. In this context the rightmost fragment of the building (right to the right tree) disturbs very much breaking the precisely composed scene. I cropped it out in the workshop - I hope you like it? tfs

Hi Chris,

The trees frame the scene nicely in this combination architectural/landscape shot. The crisp blue sky looks great and I'm sure it was a welcomed change. TFS

Best regards,
Werner

Hi Chris,
It seems good, clear and comfortable!
Are you happy there? I'am happy too (Like Cicero the Romain: "... vale bene, ego valeo" :o)).
Marvelous FP and DOF.
Cheers,
Raimundo

Ciao Chris

Beautiful place to live, a beautiful
architecture and surrounded by green.
I like the look and the beautiful shadows that
Sun casts on the ground.
Excellent perspective and amazing colors too.
Congratulations my friend ....

Hi Chris,
It is good for us to see certain aspect of your personal and professional life. I had considered participating in this week's theme but quickly deleted my entry after realizing that I had posted an almost identical image at TE, which is against the TOS. Back to the picture...The natural framing, the shadows, and the blue sky enhance my appreciation of the composition. Greetings from a rainy Wash D.C.
Danilo

How interesting to see where you spend your days Chris. I really like the way you've composed this shot, with the branches at the top echoing the shape of the hill behind the school. really nice job.
Trudy

Ciao Chris, nice see your home, lovely composition well framed by trees, wonderful light and colors, very well done, have a good week end, ciao Silvio

Hello Chris,

You have positioned yourself well for this shot, making the trees create an interesting, natural frame.
The long shadows have a big impact, leading the gaze into the shot. The environment certainly appears fresh, although your notes suggest this is not normal.

The school appears like many school buildings in the west. Is this typical?

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Chris,
When we are teacher, our school becomes our home. Because, even if we are elsewhere, at our own home by example, what we live in the walls of school is always in our mind. So, I like your interpretation of the theme.
I like the play of shadows and light, here. The trees and their long reflections framing your "home" keep the focus on your subject. Excellent! Annie

Boa noite Cris
Very interesting the place you worked ..you are so close to the gree and the moutains and so far of city confusion. It must very nice to work in this place. I like very much the front shadows of your photo.
My regards~

Good one for the theme Chris, and I find it interesting to see where it is that you live / work while away from Oz.
The ground looks very dry, and the shadows are long.
Thank Chris
Janice

Nice perspective Chris, the shadows reach into the scene and the hill in BG is cleverly framed by the branches.. Polarizer really gives nice saturation to the sky too. Nice entry for the theme.

Cheers
David

Hi Chris, Well composed from under the wide tree. The blue skies have been retained in a very realistic way. Good to have the sun right behind you. TFS. Murray.

Hi Chris,

The trees are framing well the school. The park leads our eyes toward the school which is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the architecture of the school. The colors are enhanced by the quality of the light. Have a nice day.

Pierre
