[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this while wondering the streets of Korea with my first macro lens many years ago. Came across this bundle of roses outside a flower shop and couldn't resist taking the photo because the lighting was wonderful. I shoot digital mostly these days and this photo reminds me how I much loved the look of Kodak Tri-X B&W film and how much I miss it.

superb composition and tones. good work

Hello Bennett! For a close-up done on the street, probably without a tripod, you did very well! Great control of the DOF and superb tonal range. Composition-wise, I would have preferred everything shifted to the left to position the two flower centres in the the thirds. Just an idea. Otherwise, an excellent capture!

great close up, nice shot, very good to turn it in B&W, very smooth shot.

Good shot I like the soft grey tones of the petals. The swirled lines of the outer edge of the petals define the flowers. These look like soft pillows you could rest your head on and surround yourself with the rose's scent.
