A copy of the Chinese Emperor Qin's air conditioned chariot, within the Seobok Exhibition Centre, atop the Chungbang Falls in Seogwipo City. An envoy from Xi'an in China came looking for the fountain of youth / elixir of life. Even emperors worry about aging & death! Apparently legend has it that he found it, within the caldera lake of Halla San volcano.

The original can be seen here, thanks to 'GreenBaron'. I visited Xian last year, but didn't try to take a shot, because of the huge crowds, low light, & reflections. Here I had the hall to myself. :-)

I've removed some of the green & yellow color cast, caused by the internal fluorescent lighting.

Hi Chris, I enjoy the many new sights and scenes your portfolio bring to our attention. The story behind the model makes a lot of sense, especially as time marches on. Good angle to show the horses and chariot well. TFS. Murray.

Hello Chris,
Ohhh I like that design!
In particular the umbrella catches my attention, I suspect this Chariot is built for comfort more than speed...
Good point of view and fine details!
Greetings,
Pablo -
