Great idea with this image - the long portrait format accentuates the curved trunk of the tree, which looks great in silhouette against the curved shoreline and cityscape. Warm sunset hues and a great mood. Very nice image.

Hi Chris, You have some wonderful coastal photos showing the views of Korea, most have never seen before. This is well timed with the sun on the edge of the land and the curly tree trunk catches the eye well. TFS. Murray.

Hello Chris,

I like how you have chosen the elevated pov to capture the sunset with the interestingly shaped tree and the shadowy, spiky vegetation for f/g interest.
I love the pinky tones in the sky and the water.
Sadly though, for me, the flare of the sun over the houses does not have the lovely reflective effect that it does when viewed over water. It just seems to dazzle! I'm quite sure others will find it more than than pleasing. That's art for you!

What interests me in this are the curves of the tree, waterfront and horizon. The sunset is good as well and adds a nice pinkish color to the water's surface. TFS

Simply fantastic scene here and you are on a roll my friend! the shape of the tree loks like a dragon and the sun in the backdrop looks like a fireball fired from its mouth! Its almost an illusion like photo and the exposure is superb too! Well done!

an interesting pov and composition I like the silhouette, thres a love;ly glow on the water, just a hint of colour in the fg but I think the horizon may be a little tilted Is this intentional ?Lovely shot thats my only question :-) TFS

Interesting silhouetted shot of this bent tree in the foreground. Great focal feature of the shot. The colors in the background and on the water are just a bonus. Love the almost disappearing sun!
