Photo Location: Hwaseong Fortress, Suwon, South Korea
My friend Wook-je looks very calm and at peace as he stares down on the field below.
We are standing in Dongjangde (North command post) overlooking a parade ground and an archery ground. This is one of the two command posts in this fortress used by military commanders in the past.
The fortress was built aroung 1776-1800 by King Jeongjo of the Josean dynasty in honor of his father.
The fortress has advanced defense capabilities including: five firearm bastions, five sentry towers, four angle towers, five secret gates, two floodgates, one beacon tower, two multiple arrow launcher platforms, several guard platforms and observation towers. |

i find nothing wrong with this pic.it feels peaceful and cold..and flares are supposed to ruin a photo but this one fits in well to the mood.

Hi Allan
I like the graphism & silhouettes, in this interesting sunset shot. Superb example of controlled lens flare. Tfs!
Very nice image. I like the lens flare & lighting. Just looks like it needs a slight cw rotation.
