Korean Tradition Village in Yongin (about 1 hour south of Seoul, about 15 minutes from Suwon)

Before the invention of kimchi refrigerators (which all Korean homes have aside from their regular refrigerators) they store the kimchi in jars like these during the winter.

Sometimes these jars are also buried under a makeshift hut.

Kimchi, btw, is a mix of (usually) cabbage, lettuce and radish pickled using chilli powder. Its a staple in the Korean diet.

Good shot and note is interesting too. It's a good POV and i like the contrast between B&W and this small red point under the roof. Very well seen adn done.
