Kind of debated whether this belongs in TE or TL. Since, I felt a need to PS this up a bit, I thought TL might be the better venue- though the theme may still belong better in TE.
This a bronze (or brass- don't know exactly) mural at a memorial to the Korean War at the Korean War Memorial (This irony is explained by the fact that the Korean War Memorial covers more than the Korean War!) The memorial is in the shape of an inverted cone which explains the image's curvilinear distortion (I shot up from inside the cone/memorial). Dull, flat, and uninspiring under day light, I PS'd the photo a bit with color balance and hue/saturation, after cropping.
While toiling away on PS, I had a thought: That War is a False Hypothesis. Indeed, we fight wars because we believe it to be the right thing to do at the time. But overwhelming cost in lives, morality, and materials suggests that it is always wrong. Indeed, they are great ethical aberrations. |

Welcome to TrekLens Charles
A difficult image to capture because of the shape and textures of your subject, but you've done it pretty well I think.
As for the note ... well war is always wrong, I agree.
