[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I saw these colorful lanterns inside the Yonggungsa Temple in Yeongjong Island, South Korea. I think these are birthday lanterns (for Buddha's birthday).

More about the temple:

Yonggungsa Temple is located in the flat plain at the foot of Mt. Baekun in Yeongjong Island. Having been built by the Reverend Priest of Wonhyo Daesa in the 10th year of reign by King Munmu of Silla Dynasty (670), it was named Baekunsa Temple and was also referred to as Gudamsa Temple.

The temple was rebuilt by the Prince Heungseon Daewongun in the 5th year of reign by King Cheoljong of Joseon Dynasty (1854) and was thus renamed as ‘Yonggungsa Temple’. Prince Heungseon Daewongun confined himself in this temple until King Gojong became enthroned.
