Hi Chris,

The curve line of the shore and the reflections in the water are assets to the composition. The treesa are framing well the rocky beach. The point of view is showing the pine trees forest. The intensity of the light is giving a good contrast to the colors. Have a nice day.

Great capture the coastline with wonderful use of the natural light, Chris!
I like the great contrast between the trees and the blue waters. The golden rays of the sun enhance the beauty of the shot immensely.

Hi Chris,
There appears to be a wide range of exposure spectrum which provide good color contrast. The scene is an oasis of tranquility and it's hard to imagine that this is an industrial zone with your composition. The beach curve is a highlight. Best regards.

Hi Chris,

Definitely not ugly, and hard to imagine there's industry nearby. The POV takes advantange of the curvature of the beach. The lighting looks a bit difficult to work with, but provides nice color contrasts.

Hello Chris,

The portrait format suits this shot to incorporate the bay and still give a sense of height. The deep curve of the bay makes a good lead from top to bottom.
What a range of colours from the shaded greens to the brightly golden, from the azure to the pale grey!

As said Bev the format of the photo works very well. Very good post. Lights a bit excessive at the curve superior to my tast.

Hi Chris, I mis-read the title as Ugly Park, which it is certainly the opposite. The tall pines in the foreground and the curve of the gravel burch is pleasing to the eye. The late sun reflected in the background gives warmth to this image. TFS. Murray.

POV here is excellent, the light is so striking - from the blue-tinted shadows at the bottom of the frame to the yellow tones at teh top.

To be honest I think some post-treatment to reduce the exposure at the upper part of the frame - or a ND grad filter to achieve the same - might have been good here.
