Unfortunately, it was both a Monday, & 'Chuseok' holiday, so the museum was closed. Museums in China are also closed on Mondays. Russia seems to prefer Friday closures. I've burnt in the whitewashed, sunbleached exterior, to bring out more detail. And cloned out a powerline. This museum is across the road from the entrance to Jikji-Sa Buddhist Temple. Reached by local busses #11 & #111 from Gimcheon. The terminus is a short 15 minutes downhill from here.

Great colored details!

Good Morning, Chris!

Here, you come up with a great capture, involving great artwork and nice architecture! The sharpness is crisp and POV is perfect. The DOF is well managed. The colors of the building are perfectly shown.

Great work!

best regards,
Paras

Hi Chris,
I love the creative architecture of this museum. And, the use of the CP gave the photo wonderful saturated clores and no reflections. I do feel the photo is distorted or tilted. The entrance seems to be leaning inward or to the left. I am also not so sure about the sharpness, it looks as if you used a high ratio but this could also be the strong contrast.
TFS,
Niek

Most amazing architecture captured here mate. I love the colours, shapes and textures on offer here and it is rendered sharply with great clarity. The polarized blue sky adds great contrast to the overall scene and makes this image really pop! Great work!

cheers,

Dilshan

Hello Chris, the architect had a good imagination when designing this building, the straight lines contrast beautifully with the curves of the enormous jug;your PoV was perfect at showing this.
Your PP work has enabled us to enjoy this place.

Hi Chris,
Fine lines in this images, as well straight ones as curved. Superb contrast of the building agaoinst the blue sky. Although I have the impression the image is slightly CCW rotated. Anyway a fine posting Chris.

Hi Chris,

Unusual architecture, and it's interesting the variety of museums found around the world. A shame you couldn't go inside. The various lines and angles are nicely captured from this POV, and your pp work was good to bring out the details. I found Hans' critique and your reply interesting because I often have difficulty with determining what to level a photo on.

Best regards,
Werner

Hi Chris, Very interesting to see such a place. Good to visit there. The most unusual shapes of the building is well shown from this POV. Colours have come up well. TFS. Murray.

I would never see the facade of this museum, which seems so important and interesting without your picture. You do not need further comment beyond the following: it is a beautiful picture.

Raimundo

I loved the look of this architecture,
I would love to come and enjoy with so many
porcelain scattered these rooms.
The cup that adorns the architecture is fabulous
and great creativity of those who did!
Beautiful natural light and defines the place and location.
Greetings,

Sergio

Bonjour Chris.
L’imagination des architectes n’a décidément pas de limites et je me demande bien où ils vont chercher les idées.
Je trouve tout aussi superbes l’image comme la construction. Un grand bravo a tous les deux.
Bonne journée.

Hi Chris: You have done very well in cloning the cable lines. I hate those ugly overhead cables as well and this is a well depicted architecture reflection the museum. Regards. Jusni
