[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Featured here are tea leaves. It is these tender ones that are plucked and dried up to obtain tea dust. The buses are constantly trimmed to ensure the young leaves grwo quickly. They are usually a light (almost luminous) green compared to the older leaves. The mist is rolling down over the hills in the b/g. A regular scene in the hill country.

hello Subashini

Yes, tea leaves are always very soft and tender and the green color so different tone from bottom to the top of the plant.

Nicely composed view of the cloudy top of the mountain. A refreshing green.

Hi Subashini,
A very good capture and presentation of this scenery.
The plucking of those tender leaves is an enormous job.... there are soooo many leaves. (and it doesn't earn much).
TFS.
Best wishes for 2009 !
greetings,
Joop!

Hello Subashini.
I like these cultural views. Well for me it is new but maybe not so new for you. The first couple of leaves that are out of focus are distracting for me here. The tender light green in focus crisp leaves are a real treat.
The mist in the background gives a mood here.

Hi Subs,
A very nice close up of the tea leaves. I wish you had included more of the misty mountains in the background.
Well done.
Sunil

Hello,

Très belle macro sur ces feuille de thé, elles sont douce et mangigique, avec la colline embrumée, très belle image.

bravo et amitié

Hi Subs,

These young tea leaves look so tender and fresh on the hill slope. I like the lightness of the foreground against the moody sky.

Regards,
Jusni

Welcome Subashini,
what a beautiful green. Day is a cloudy but green light. Beautiful composition.
